Stephanie and Matt’s engagement session at the Los Angeles County Arboretum in Arcadia felt like stepping into a storybook garden. With blooming florals, shaded trails, and golden sunlight filtering through the trees, every moment we captured felt soft, joyful, and full of life.
We wandered through the Arboretum’s most scenic paths, from flower-filled meadows to winding dirt trails lined with greenery. Stephanie wore a flowing black dress with pink florals for the first half of the shoot—classic and romantic against the garden backdrop. Later, she changed into a neutral-toned floral dress, perfect for blending in with the soft tones of spring. Matt kept things clean and simple in light button-ups and black jeans, complementing her look without stealing the show.
What made this session so special was how relaxed these two were together. They hugged, laughed, and swayed in the sun without needing much direction—it was all about capturing their connection naturally. Whether they were dancing under the trees or sharing a quiet moment among the blooms, every photo radiated warmth.
The Los Angeles Arboretum is one of my favorite engagement session locations in Southern California. It offers so much variety—lush gardens, desert plants, open fields, and beautiful architectural details—all in one space. Stephanie and Matt made the most of it, and the photos speak for themselves.
