Maddie & Christian's Mount Baldy Adventure Session

When most people think about engagement photos, they picture perfectly posed images and carefully planned moments. Maddie and Christian had other ideas.

Their engagement session at Mount Baldy felt less like a photoshoot and more like an afternoon adventure together.

From climbing massive boulders to exploring the mountain landscape, these two brought an energy that made every part of the session fun. They spent more time laughing than posing, which honestly made for some of my favorite images from the day.

One of the things I loved most was how comfortable they were with each other. Whether Maddie was hopping on Christian's back for a piggyback ride or the two of them were sharing a quiet moment overlooking the mountains, everything felt natural. Nothing needed to be forced.

The rugged landscape around Mount Baldy gave us an incredible backdrop throughout the session. The rocky terrain, desert plants, and mountain views created a setting that felt adventurous while still keeping the focus exactly where it belonged—on the two of them.

Halfway through the session, Maddie and Christian changed into a more casual look that matched the relaxed atmosphere perfectly. As the sun dropped lower behind the mountains, the mood shifted from playful and energetic to calm and intimate. Those final moments gave us some beautiful images that showcased both the scenery and their connection.

And of course, no engagement session would be complete without showing off the ring.

Between the mountain views, endless laughter, and genuine moments they shared throughout the evening, this session was the perfect reflection of who Maddie and Christian are together.

I can't wait to celebrate with them on their wedding day.
