Elyse and Chris’s wedding at Lake Oak Meadows in Temecula was the perfect mix of elegance, warmth, and California vineyard charm. From the start of the day to the final dance under the stars, everything about their wedding was thoughtful, beautiful, and a joy to capture.
Lake Oak Meadows is one of our favorite Temecula wedding venues for a reason. With its tranquil lake, vine-covered paths, stone bridges, and golden hour backdrops, it offers endless opportunities for romantic and cinematic photos. Elyse and Chris chose it not just for its beauty but for how peaceful and tucked away it feels, like a private escape in the middle of wine country.
The day began with prep on site. Elyse got ready in the bridal suite surrounded by her closest friends, with laughter and happy tears filling the room. Chris was just steps away with his groomsmen, keeping things light and fun. We always love when everything happens at one location because it allows for a relaxed timeline and smooth transitions throughout the day.
Their ceremony took place lakeside, with golden sunlight filtering through the trees and reflecting off the water. It was an emotional moment filled with genuine smiles, a few happy tears, and personal vows that had the entire crowd locked in. The setting was peaceful and romantic, everything you'd hope for in an outdoor ceremony.
Afterward, we walked the property with Elyse and Chris for their couple portraits. The light was absolute perfection and they were completely in the moment with each other. We photographed them walking hand in hand through vineyard paths, pausing under trees, and sharing quiet, candid moments that felt like something out of a movie.
The reception was held just steps from the ceremony site with twinkle lights overhead and the glow of candles and string lights filling the space. From heartfelt speeches to a packed dance floor, their night was full of love, energy, and so many moments worth remembering.
