Elyse & Christian’s Engagement Session at the Los Angeles County Arboretum & Botanic Garden

There’s something special about engagement sessions that take place in a location as beautiful as the Los Angeles County Arboretum & Botanic Garden. With its lush greenery, colorful blooms, winding pathways, and hidden garden corners, it provided the perfect backdrop for Elyse and Christian’s engagement session.

From the moment we started exploring the gardens together, it was easy to see the connection these two share. Whether they were walking hand in hand through the flower-lined pathways, sharing quiet moments among the greenery, or simply laughing together between photos, every part of the session felt natural and genuine.

One of my favorite things about photographing at the Arboretum is the incredible variety of scenery. Within just a short walk, we were able to capture portraits surrounded by ornamental grasses, vibrant flowers, towering trees, and charming garden structures. Each area offered a completely different look while still maintaining the romantic atmosphere that made the session feel cohesive from beginning to end.

Elyse looked stunning in her elegant white dress, while Christian’s classic attire complemented the timeless feel of the gardens perfectly. Together, they brought such warmth and energy to every photograph, making it easy to create images that felt authentic to their relationship.

As we wandered through the grounds, we found beautiful pockets of light, colorful floral displays, and peaceful garden paths that helped tell their story. The Arboretum’s natural beauty never disappoints, but it was Elyse and Christian’s chemistry that truly made this session unforgettable.

I’m so grateful I had the opportunity to document this exciting season in their lives. Engagement sessions are about more than just beautiful photos—they’re about preserving memories and celebrating the journey toward marriage. Elyse and Christian made every moment easy, fun, and full of joy.
