Deborah & Daniel

An Intimate Ceremony at Rancho Guajome Adobe

Deborah and Daniel’s wedding at Rancho Guajome Adobe in Vista, CA was the definition of intimate and meaningful. With just their closest loved ones present, they exchanged vows in the courtyard of this historic adobe, surrounded by rustic architecture, warm sunlight, and the quiet beauty of the grounds. We were honored to document their ceremony, family formals, and a relaxed romantic portrait session around the property.

Rancho Guajome Adobe is a peaceful gem tucked into North San Diego County, full of character with its whitewashed walls, old wooden doors, and open garden spaces. It was the perfect setting for a smaller wedding focused on connection and simplicity.

The ceremony took place in one of the shaded courtyards, with family gathered close as Deborah and Daniel shared their vows. There was something incredibly special about how quiet and grounded the moment felt. With no distractions or large crowds, their words carried so much weight, and the love in the space was undeniable.

After the ceremony, we took time to capture family formals with everyone who came to support them. These images always feel extra important at intimate weddings because each person there holds such a meaningful place in the couple’s lives.

Once portraits with family were complete, we explored the grounds with Deborah and Daniel for their romantic session. The adobe’s textured walls, flowering gardens, and historic walkways gave us a beautiful backdrop. The two of them were relaxed, present, and completely themselves, making it easy to capture the quiet joy between them.

While the day may have been short in coverage, it was full of heart. Weddings like this are a reminder that even a few hours can hold a lifetime’s worth of emotion and meaning. We’re so thankful to have been part of it.
