Ariana & Frank
Ariana and Frank’s engagement session was everything I love about shooting in Downtown Los Angeles—modern architecture, soft light, and two people completely in their element. We spent the afternoon at the iconic Walt Disney Concert Hall, letting the clean lines and metallic curves create a bold, editorial look that still felt intimate and fun.
From the start, these two brought great energy. Ariana wore a chic neutral outfit that popped perfectly against the silvery steel backdrop, and Frank kept it timeless with a light blue button-up and slate trousers. Their style matched the setting beautifully—cool, confident, and effortless.
We started in the sculptural walkways of the Disney Hall, where the light wraps and reflects in all directions. It’s one of my favorite places in Los Angeles for engagement photos, especially when we can catch that soft overcast glow. Ariana and Frank danced, laughed, and leaned into the moment like pros—never overly posed, just fully present.
From there, we wandered a few blocks to capture the skyline and fountains at the Los Angeles Department of Water & Power building, which gave us a great urban contrast to the futuristic Disney Hall curves. Those city shots with the skyline in the background? Always a favorite.
What stood out most about this session wasn’t just the stunning location—it was how comfortable and connected Ariana and Frank were with each other. Their chemistry brought the entire shoot to life.
